The exhibition “Germinal” shows for the first time 60 works from Cabrita Reis Collection, acquired in 2015 by EDP Foundation. The collection traces a broad and solid representation of the Portuguese artists of the Generation of 90, also including works of artists from previous and later generations. The installation of João Louro “Happy Birthday”, acquired by Pedro Cabrita Reis in 2001, is one of the works on display. The exhibition, held in partnership with MAAT, was on view in Galeria Municipal do Porto between March 16 and May 20, 2018, departing thereafter to Lisbon.

A exposição “Germinal” é a primeira apresentação pública de um núcelo de 60 obras que integram a Coleção Cabrita Reis adquirida em 2015 pela Fundação EDP. A coleção traça uma ampla e sólida representação dos artistas portugueses da Geração de 90, incluindo também obras de artistas de gerações anteriores e posteriores. A instalação de João Louro “Happy Birthday”, adquirida por Pedro Cabrita Reis em 2001, é uma das obras em exposição. Realizada em parceria com o MAAT, esteve na Galeria Municipal do Porto entre 16 de março e 20 de maio de 2018, partindo depois para Lisboa.
