Lines of Dialogue joins two collections. The Coca-Cola Foundation, where there are all kinds of techniques and expressions of current art, but where photography has great relevance, with one of the most important collections of contemporary photography in the world, the NOVO BANCO Collection. The result is a vision of two collections that explore Spanish and Portuguese photography in the same time period, offering a plurality of looks that invite reflection on the world through images that refer so much to the marks of the past as to different aspects of daily life and Ff the present time.

Through themes such as encounter, portraiture, memory, reality, fiction, landscape and architecture, photographs of Portuguese and Spanish artists such as Julião Sarmento, João Penalva, Vasco Araújo, Helena Almeida, Carmela García, Alberto García-Alix, among others.

The exhibition Lines of Dialogue is curated by Lorena Martínez de Corral. In the words of the curator of the exhibition “photography was the first visual medium of masses and is the key of all the technical production of images”. Therefore, concludes “More than any other visual medium, photography has shaped the memory of our time, both collective and individual.”
