FIVE MINUTES AFTER VIOLENT DEATH
The Travessa do Marta Pinto is a tiny street and the binding axis for the Project Travessa da Ermida. It doubles as a link to the history of Belém and Lisbon, but also as a path to new experiences, taking on the true role of a street as a space of leisure, where encounters and passages come alive.
This unusual and fascinating project where contemporary art, design, jewelry and wines live together has, as its backbone, the “Ermida N.ª Sr.ª da Conceição”, an 18th century chapel which, after long years of neglect, was restored to its former prestige and now acts as a contemporary art and design exhibition space, presenting projects with curatorship and/or involvement of an artistic production structure.
