The cases presented are emblematic, historical, and contemplate plastic aspects subsumed in the perspective of Views and Writings in the Thread of Time. Under the title of Communicating Vessels, words, calligraphy and alphabets can be seen; images are read and meanings are recognized [or not]. Visual narratives are confronted and inexhaustible episodes are revealed. The names of significant artists remain active in the historiography of Portuguese art, justifying that the present exhibition sequences previous scenarios, investigations and curations. Under the aegis of writing and vision, artistic creations are thought of as affectionate goods; palates are enjoyed and poetic ideas are exchanged in the form of Communicating Vessels.
Os casos apresentados são emblemáticos, são históricos, e contemplam vertentes plásticas subsumidas na perspetiva de Olhares e Escritas no Fio do Tempo. Sob o título de Vasos Comunicantes, podem ver-se palavras, caligrafias e alfabetos; lêem-se imagens e reconhecessem [ou não] significados. Enfrentam-se narrativas visuais e desvelam-se episódios inesgotáveis. Os nomes de artistas significativos persistem ativos na historiografia de arte portuguesa, justificando que a presente mostra sequencialize cenários, investigações e curadorias anteriores. Sob égide da escrita e da visão, pensam-se as criações artísticas como bens afetuosos; fruem-se paladares e t[r]ocam-se ideias poéticas em modo Vasos Comunicantes.
